Security for All by Joseph Webster
Security For All Blog Profile: Copyright, e-discovery, legal topics, privacy, secure computing, NAC and Captain X-Ploit in an amusing style, accessible to a non-technical audience as well as security professionals.
In real life Joe Webster is an Advisory Software Engineer for InfoPrint Solutions, where he acts as network and application security lead. He is also an electronic musician, composer and producer, having been a classical pianist and professional keyboardist in a past life. He started blogging at Security For All two years ago after being encouraged to do so by Alan Shimel and Mitchell Ashley who were doing the “StillSecure After All These Years” podcast at the time. Security For All attempts to present security issues in an amusing way, accessible to a non-technical audience as well as infosec professionals. Frequent subject matter for Security For All includes copyright enforcement and the abuses arising therefrom, e-discovery, legal topics, privacy and NAC. Probably resulting from the author’s interest in music, having a son and daughter-in-law who are lawyers and having been a developer of a NAC product. But you can never tell. Recently Joe has been joined by his son Nicholas who writes the weekly “Adventures of Captain X-Ploit: The epic chronicle – Captain X-Ploit vs. The Bills” featuring the intrepid David Stone in his quest to beat the system in the mythical town of Trustonia. Usually employing tried and true hacker tactics but always to amusing affect.
